Thân xác

These are just some of the personal insights that Pope Francis shared with over 200 thousand people who stretched from St Peter’s Basilica down to the banks of the Tiber and millions more who joined him Saturday night (18th May) via TV and radio to celebrate a Prayer Vigil for the Feast of Pentecost with New Movements. Needless to say there were several rounds of applause for his insights from the widely cheering crowds that remained glued to the screens with a near total attention. The spontaneous sharing of his reflections was so moving, so profound and yet down to earth:
"...We cannot become starched Christians, too polite, who speak of theology calmly over tea. We have to become courageous Christians and seek out those who are the flesh of Christ, those who are the flesh of Christ...
Being a poor Church for the poor begins by embracing the flesh of Christ. If we embrace to the flesh of Christ, we begin to understand something about what poverty is, the poverty of the Lord.”.

"Hai người sẽ nên một huyết nhục. Vì thế, họ không còn là hai mà là một huyết nhục. Vậy sự gì Thiên Chúa đã kết hợp, loài người không thể phân rẽ". (Mc 10,8-9)
